October 2009 Snowstorm

We got our first snowstorm of the season and it's only October! It started snowing on Tuesday night (10/26) and hasn't stopped yet. The storm should wrap up by tonight though. So far we have gotten 14" (10/28 at 12:00 pm). Here are some pics.

5 weeks old

Jasmine is getting so big so fast. Along with that she has found her screaming cry and is using it frequently. I'm definitely learning about my patience level (& the lack there of.) God has been showing me through my lack of patience & love about his unending patience and everlasting love. Yes I know it sounds bad to say that there are times that I have to choose to love my daughter, but I think all moms feel that way sometimes. Thankfully God never feels that way towards me and that He always truly loves me, no matter what I have done or how I have treated him.
Here's some pics I took yesterday when she was awake and smiling.

Bath Time!

We gave Jasmine her first bath last night and I don't think it was what she was expecting. Zach & I had some good laughs though.

Getting Ready.

Is this what you meant by "bath time"?? I thought this was supposed to be fun!

You're going to pay for this.

Get that washcloth away from me!!!

That's it! I'm mad. This is not what I signed up for.

This is miserable. I'm cold and wet!

What! now I'm a duck!!!

Seriously Mom!

So, I'm having fun dressing Jasmine up in all the cute clothes that we go for her. I'm sure she'll love me for this later...

My duck outfit.

Seriously! What is this on my head?

Don't mess with me. I'm ready to box.

Are we done yet?

This is my pinky. Pretty fascinating.

More Pictures

Some of Jasmine's facial expressions...
(I know they aren't the best quality, but they are funny.)

Talking with the alligator again.

This is one of our favorite expressions.
(She's still looking intently at the alligator.)
